Move-in for new students is an exciting time!

Students begin their Catholic U experience immediately upon arriving to campus. Students will meet new people and share the excitement or nervous anticipation of moving into a new place. Regardless of the emotions, the Catholic University staff in YELLOW shirts will strive to make your move-in day successful. Please familiarize yourself with the information below to help make your move-in day easier!

Reminders for First Year Move-in

Remember that Orientation opening sessions are scheduled by last name. Please use your Orientation opening session as a guide to schedule your arrival at your check-in location. Staggered arrival will help ease traffic flow and will decrease your wait time at our check in locations.

Please utilize the following suggestion to guide your arrival time on August 22, 2019

Students with last names A-F and Honors students 8:00am-10:00am
Students with last names G-M 10:00am-12:00pm
Students with last names N-Z 12:30pm-2:00pm

We strongly recommend that you label all your boxes and belongings with your last name, residence hall and room number prior to arrival, to ensure that your belongings are not confused with other students who are moving in.

When you arrive at your check in location, staff in YELLOW will be there to greet you and provide you with instructions about the move-in process. You can check in to both Orientation and your Residence Hall at your check-in location.

If you own a hand-truck, we recommend you bring it with you. Hand trucks and bins will be available on campus but quantities are limited.
